<p>There was a beautiful sunset last night. I was tweaking this photo with Photogene<sup>2</sup> and had a play with the reflection effect. I like how it makes it look like there was a body of water in the image.</p>

They&#8217;re so furry, it makes you want to reach out and touch them to see if that hair is coarse or smooth! but I didn&#8217;t think it was a great idea.]]></description>

<p>I found the architecture of St Mary&#8217;s in Perth rather intriguing for a cathedral. Most of the cathedrals I&#8217;ve seen are very square, and often cross shaped at a bird&#8217;s eye view. This one was very round, You can just see it in this photo: at the sides the supports, the not-quite-flying-buttresses are attached to some kind of arch. Very modern. Thanks to Wikipedia I now know that particular bit of architecture was built 2006&#8211;2009. So, quite recent indeed.</p>
